Ellen Wixted
Ellen is in her second year at UVM studying neuroscience and special education and hopes to move on to graduate school for disability studies, as well as continuing neuroscience and special education. She grew up in Wisconsin for nine years before moving to upstate New York.
Ellen has a strong passion for music, singing in a folk a cappella group on campus, as well as playing guitar and piano and a growing array of Irish instruments. She also enjoys hiking, camping, cliff jumping, and skiing. On campus, Ellen mostly studies or goes for walks around town with friends, frequently visiting Ben and Jerry’s (winter included).
She is exceedingly excited to start working with Think College in the fall, and cannot wait for the semester to begin!
