This site was created as a service-learning project by Prof. Meghan Cope and the students of Qualitative Research Methods (GEOG186/ANTH196/GSWS196) in Spring 2019 and is updated regularly. Here you will find profiles of researchers from across UVM who are working with qualitative research methods, including mixed-methods projects combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. You will also find a set of links to Campus Resources to support qualitative research, including links to the Qualitative Research Listserv, software download page, and other campus sites – we welcome suggestions for material to add!
Please make sure to visit the specially curated annotated bibliography of recent (past 10-ish years) articles that are useful for projects ranging from working with farmers to working with elderly people with dementia, from PhotoVoice to SketchMapping, from mixed-methods to ethnography.
We’ve also included a “Wish List” of connections, resources, events, and support that our community of scholars looks forward to creating and accessing in the future.
