This webinar covered practical, on-the-ground,
“what-and-hows” of machinery and implements that can help farmers improve efficiency.
Presenter Richard Wiswall, farmer and author of the The Organic Farmer’s Business Handbook, provides a simple framework beginning farmers can use to assess economic and production efficiencies of mechanization investments they are considering. Richard also provided an overview of mechanization options for bed preparation, fertilization, seedbed preparation, cultivation, irrigation, harvesting and washing.
