Faculty in History, Art History, and Anthropology and staff at the Fleming Museum have begun exploring the possibility of creating an interdisciplinary Museum Studies minor within the College of Arts and Sciences. This idea comes, in part, out of student interest in the field but also out of some very successful initiatives that have recently been launched, including an introductory Museum Studies class and recent student-curated exhibitions at the Fleming. The goal is to create a coherent program in which students will take a few core courses, several electives, and complete a museum-related internship.
