- met with geoff Duke and Rob Ryan (rob.Ryan@uvm.edu) to discuss counseling center needs
- "Record" video from several different computers, and recordings done on each computer by more than one user (ccdesk or wbrownsw).
- Video saved to a secure location, probably on a network share.
- Video can be played from one of several locations, not necessarily requiring the video capture software to view.
- Ability to ‘mark’ sections along the way (and jump from section to section -RR)
- Ability for any viewer to add commentary? Commentary would be great (first choice would be ability to add audio commentary, second would be written commentary, the comments "attached" specific segments of the video -RR)
- (no need for most "editing" functions -RR).
- And all functions should be easy enough for busy faculty to use with little training.
Right. Initial Recommendations: Windows Movie Maker and/or QuickTime Pro

- Doug Varney asked about a "Gary Derr needs this tomorrow" question: "I am trying to find appropriate security to limit access to a Perseus-created Survey to COM faculty and UVM Medical faculty. I was thinking that the .HTAccess process might provide this using a file of NETID’s . Since there may be as many as 700 participants, is this going to work? Can you think of a reasonable way to prevent multiple submissions? We discussed possibilities, more — will research tomorrow
