Immanence has taken on a new look. It’s crisper, cleaner, and easier to read. Most of what was in the old version is in the new one, though it might take a moment of poking around to find it. If you are reading this on a blog reader, please visit the blog on its home page. And please feel free to let me know what you think.

the black on back-lit white is a bit of a strain to read, the colored background to the right-side column is better for me but I’m sure there is a whole spectrum (no pun intended) of readers out there.
dmf – Did you find the white on dark of the previous version easier on the eyes? I did get several comments on that one suggesting that it was difficult to read (and that it looked cluttered, disorganized, etc.), but I suspect you’re right about the spectrum of variability. Wish I was tech-savvy enough to create my own theme that would allow me to tweak all the details for perfection. Not in this life, I’m afraid… Best, Adrian
that one was fine, no worries either way really
Adrian, in my little corner of the spectrum, this is much better than the previous version, but I also agree with dmf that the slightly colored background is best. Another option might be if your theme allows you to set the color of the text to some shade of grey – this reduces the contrast with the backlit background. I do this on AG.
Anyway – I like the new look, especially the header image!
