Many thanks to UVM’s twenty-eighth president, Dr. Marlene Tromp, for continuing the tradition of presidential support for Phi Beta Kappa, which allows all UVM students elected to accept their membership without having to pay a fee. Dr. Tromp is herself a Phi Beta Kappa member, having been inducted to the Beta of Florida chapter at the University of Florida as a graduate student.
