I teach a range of classes from large lectures to small seminars in topics including the spatial politics of race and ethnicity in the US, migration and mobility, sports, global cities, political ecology, and development. The bulk of my undergraduate thesis students are from Geography but I have also participated on the thesis committees of many students in Anthropology, Environmental Studies, Global Studies, Food Systems, Political Science, and History.
In 2021, I was honored to be selected as the winner of the George V. Kidder Outstanding Faculty Award by UVM’s Alumni Association as well as well as the 2021 Kroepsch-Maurice Excellence in Teaching Award (Associate Professor Rank)
