Urban Pulse is a series within the journal Urban Geography.  Originally conceived of by Helga Leitner, I took over the editorial reins in 2014 and have since worked with authors on topics focused on emerging issues in the global south.  The series is meant to be primarily conceptual in nature, featuring shorter articles grounded in empirical contexts but not focused on the details so much as the big picture.
