I have participated in the Food Systems programs (both research and graduate education) since their inception at UVM.  In particular I am interested in the relationship that migrants — including refugees, labor migrants, and other kinds of immigrants – have with food and the ways in which such relationships help to sustain, reinforce, transform, and challenge notions of home, belonging and identity. I am particularly interested in migration and food and food access more generally for underserved populations.
