Abra Clawson graduated from the University of Vermont (UVM) in 2019, where she majored in Anthropology and Religion, and minored in Theatre.
Abra first visited Nepal in 2016 while on a summer Travel Study program run by UVM focusing on the Mustang region. She returned two years later to conduct field work in Kagbeni.
Involved with music and theater groups since elementary school, Abra has loved the medium of sound for a long time. At UVM, she was the Assistant Sound Designer forĀ Hand to God (2018), and the Sound Designer for Tartuffe (2018). She also has experience as a sound engineer, and could often be found running events at Burlington City Arts during her time in Vermont. After graduating, she became the Audio Apprentice at Baltimore Center Stage for their 2019-2020 season.
