Wildlife and Winter

The Burlington Waterfront has changed a lot since the last time I was there. The lake has been frozen over in this area to the point where people and animals have been walking on the ice. The trees are still bare because most of them are deciduous. The footprints and wildlife prints seen were mostly from people and their dogs. I was at the waterfront for a short time, and I could see many people out and about walking while their dogs ran around in the snow. It is very refreshing to know that the waterfront park is still very lively even when the ground is covered in ice and snow. The people of Burlington have an appreciation for the outdoors that extends past the warm months of the year.
