Did You Know?

Good Luck, Graduates!

A little tongue-in-cheek humor for our recent grads.

Post-Grad: Go Forth!

Good luck with job searches, graduate school applications, and the Yetis.  We’ll miss you.

SI Leaders: Fall Training Meeting

SI LEADERS:

Thank you for completing the availability survey to help me schedule the Fall training meeting.  The only day you all were free to meet was Sunday, August 26.  I have booked L/L CM 216 from 5:00-7:00 on that date for the training meeting.  The meeting agenda is set and it should be awesome.

Remember, you will also attend the All-Tutor meeting from 7:00-8:00 pm in L/L CM 315 on Monday, September 3.  Both meetings are paid training, so be sure to enter this time in PeopleSoft.

Enjoy the rest of your summers and be sure to stay in touch!

Congrats, Graduates!

To all of our tutors who graduated this spring, congratulations!  I notice that many of the tutors who graduated this year did so with honors.  I’m not surprised, but I am very VERY proud of you!

Sexual Harassment Training

Before you are eligible to begin work for the Fall 2012 semester, you must complete UVM’s online “Preventing Sexual Harassment” training.  Once you have finished the training, you will receive a certificate of completion.

1. KEEP A COPY OF THIS FOR YOUR RECORDS!  You are required to complete this training just once, but all of your employers on campus must have a record of your completion.

2. SEND A COPY OF THE CERTITIFCATE TO US.  If you have completed this training in the past, you will not need to take it again.  Simply send us a record of your certificate of completion.  (If you think we already have one on file, call or email to check).

A link to the training is included above and also on the “For Subject-Area Tutors” page on the blog.
