Are you sticking around after UVM ends and looking for a great opportunity to work with school age children? The Burlington Kids after school program is looking for creative, enthusiastic individuals to help finish out the school year. These positions are part time, after school, at one of our elementary sites in Burlington. Some sites do require travel, but all are on a bus route and are easily bike-able. Applicants must have some prior experience with school age children and be willing and able to plan and implement programming with students. Programming ranges from academic support, gardening, STEM, arts and crafts, active games, music, and more.
Program times are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30pm-5:30pm and Wednesday from 1:30pm-5:30pm. We are currently looking for staff who can work from May-June 15th. We are flexible and can allow this start date to be after UVM finals are complete. We require that staff work at least 3 days per week and would prefer that anyone starting after May 15th be able to work all five days a week. Summer opportunities are also available through our SOAR program.
