At first glance, I was disappointed that there was only one flowering plant poking up out of the ground. This little guy to the right was unidentifiable with Seek, but the app did note it seems to be in the Orchid family.
I was pleased to notice that although there were few flowers, there were a few buds on the trees and some leafy plants on the ground which will get their flowers soon. I spotted White Avens, Partridgeberry, and Winged Euonymus(pictured.)On the trees, I noticed American Beech buds that seemed like they were going to flower soon, as well as 2 others that seek was not able to identify, one of which had begun to flower.
