We are a team of researchers (and many collaborators!) committed to providing valuable insights into the world of fish evolution, ecology, and movement. As researchers, we also recognize that being a fishery scientist means that we are taking a political side. Therefore, we strive to reflect and be transparent about why we ask (and don’t ask) specific scientific questions, how we answer them, who we work with (students, communities, First Nations, or no one), and how we work with them.
Through our website, we aim to share our research program and updates. We also hope to attract collaborators who are passionate about fish and would like to imagine equitable pathways to think and maintain healthy fish-people relations!
