The Final Countdown

Hello, everybody–

Hard to believe, but this semester is already coming to a close.  Today, Thursday, was the last official day of tutoring.  As of today’s records, the Subject-Area tutoring has had 1866 visits with 624 different students this semester.  Well done!

Just a few reminders before I leave you all alone for a month.

1.  No more tutoring after today.  Please enter all of your visits into TutorTrac before you leave for break.  If TutorTrac is being a brat–and believe me it happens more often than not– send me an email I will work with you to fix any problems.  If something is not right, please do not continue.  I will only have to go back to find and correct the mistakes, so I’d much rather you email me (or stop by) as soon as you have a problem.

2. The last pay period of the semester ends this week!  Please get your hours in to me no later than Sunday night at midnight and I will approve time on Monday morning in time for you to be paid next Friday, 12/17.

3. If you would like to have regular tutoring hours in the Co-op next semester, please let me know your availability as soon as possible.  I will be working on the schedule over break, so it would be great to hear from you if your class schedule is set.

4. As you finish up this semester, if there are any new courses you would like to add to the list of classes you can tutor, you may ask your professor to complete a recommendation: http://www.uvm.edu/learnco/?Page=sat/faculty.html&SM=satmenu.html

5.Remember, our MANDATORY spring tutor meeting will be held in L/L CM 315 on Monday, January 17, from 7-9 pm.  See you there!

6.  In case you are interested, tutoring will officially begin on January 24, 2011.  Get excited!

Finally, best of luck on all of your final exams and assignments.  If I don’t see you around before you leave, have a wonderful break.  See you January 17!

Best,
Rachel
