Plant Species

My spot mostly has overstory plants, with the only main understory plant being ferns. Red, Sugar, and Norwegian Maples, Eastern White Pine, White Oak, and a few American Beech trees make up most of the overstory.

I found my spot when walking around Centennial woods with my friend. The path that we were following had run parallel to a stream on the right side and a sloping hill that ran parallel to the path on the left side. Along the left, there were Sugar, Red and Norwegian Maples, Eastern White Pine, White Oak, and some American Beech trees. There was very little understory. I decided to focus more on the left side of the path. To access my spot, you enter Centennial Woods from the Catamount Drive entrance. From there, follow the path. After walking over a small boardwalk like a bridge, the path branches off into a smaller branch to the left. Follow the smaller path for thirty seconds or so, and then you are at my spot.
