I observed the vegetation at Centennial Woods to be lush and biodiverse. In particular, in the spot I chose, I noticed there was still some green leaves left, some dandelions that were seeding, and other plants that appeared to be losing leaves or dying off. There were ferns typically farther from the brook, and a lot of pine needles and decaying leaves on the ground, making the seasonal changes that occur during the fall evident.
