At my location in Centennial Woods, I observed that the most commonly occurring woody plant species was eastern white pines. There were also a few sapling sugar maples near the stream as well as small paper birches with yellow leaves. I also observed a boxelder devoid of most of its leaves as well as poison ivy. There were a lot of standing trees that had completely died but had yet to fall over in the area.

A view of the tree species present just above the stream.
