Support This Important Work!

Migrant Health Program exists solely through a combination of local, state and federal grants and philanthropic monetary donations from individuals, organization and companies. We utilize donations in a variety of ways to meet the needs of migrant workers and their family members. In some cases, this means bridging a funding gap to make sure we have enough staff to continue working along side clients as they navigate complex and confusing health and social services. We also use gift funds to purchase gas cards for volunteers who want to donate their time to bringing clients to their appointments but would otherwise be unable to due to the high cost of gas. Donations are used to purchase seeds for farmworker households who participate in Huertas, our kitchen garden project, to cover mileage costs for interns who get academic credit for supporting the program, and to pay students engaged in summer internships with us. Finally, donations ensure we are able to purchase outreach supplies for clients- from oral health kits comprised of toothbrushes, dental floss, and toothpaste to over the counter medications to treat the most common ailments that staff encounter on the farms.

We are so appreciative of donations of any amount.
