Mads Almassalkhi holds 10 years of experience as a key member on small dynamic engineering and startup teams that develop innovative solutions for medical, defense, and electricity industries. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont where he leads funded R&D power/energy projects with T&D partners. Previously, with Root3 Technologies, he led development of SaaS energy technologies. He holds a PhD and MS from the U of Michigan.

Jeff Frolik has over 30 years of industrial and academic experience in multiple areas of electrical engineering including communications, signal processing, and energy. He was a satellite systems engineer for Hughes Aircraft Co. and as an independent consultant. He was a faculty member at Tennessee Technological University and is now Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Vermont specializing in the areas of wireless communications and sensor networks.
