Do you love museums? Have you ever wondered what it takes to create a museum exhibit or wanted the chance to research paintings, historical objects or items from other cultures? Would you like to be part of planning a real exhibit? This is the class for you!
We are pleased to offer Introduction to Museum Studies in collaboration with the Fleming Museum at UVM. This intensive four-week summer course will meet three times a week and will combine introduction to contemporary museum studies with hands-on exercises and weekly field trips to local museums.
The course meets from May 24-June 16 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9-12:45 on the UVM campus and at the Fleming Museum.
