UVM History Department Blog

Dear History Department Students, Faculty, Staff, and Friends,

The History Department is finally entering the digital age, at long last, with a new blog, a new facebook page, and a new twitter account. We hope that this will be a good way to spread news about the department, our events, and our wonderful faculty, staff, and students.

While a fuller introduction and welcome message (with details about our various accounts) will appear next week, I did want to share links to to stories that recently appeared on the UVM website. The first of these discusses the Nepal program led by Professor Abby McGowan. The second discusses Professor Nicole Phelps participation in a Big Data seminar that recently met on campus.
