Originally completed in 1892, Alumni House is an historic building that now offers a home base for UVM alumni celebrating campus life and the rich history of our institution. Alumni House opened its doors for the first time in September 2016, and is quickly growing as an elegant new event space for the campus and our surrounding community. We specialize in hosting an ever-evolving variety of high-end, high quality special events. Our student team is the heart of the house, providing critical event support and support to the UVM Alumni Association.

Position Overview
Student staff will have a myriad of responsibilities, including:
· Oversee and support the daily functions of event spaces
· Serve as the main point of contact for event clients and house visitors
· Provide sound, light, setup, and audio-visual support to events
· Set up/break down all logistical elements of events such as tables, chairs, podiums, etc.
· Greet guests at the Welcome Desk & conduct building tours
· Ensure facility security and appearance
Required Qualifications
· Excellent customer service skills and an enthusiasm for working with University leaders, donors, alumni, and guests
· Strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail
· An interest in developing skills in alumni relations & event planning
· A sense of adventure and willingness to take on a challenge!
