Last weekend I spent some time uploading videos I made in the 1980s.  Today, I feel myself returning to more personal modes of expression exhibited here.  These videos are still close to my heart.

ELKHART LAKE (shot on 16mm/edited 3/4″, 2 mn. 1985) This one portrays my grandmother, my great aunt, and my aunt washing dishes after Thanksgiving dinner. They are all dead today.

BEFORE SHE KNEW (shot on Super8mm, edited 3/4”, 8:30 min.)  Portrayal of an elderly woman who has little memory intact and little contact with the world around her.  Combined with crawling titles that discuss a photo found in her belongings. Selected to be screened on “NO-TV” Cable TV Series, produced by Visual Studies Workshop, 1986
