COURSELEAF FOR THE 2026-27 CATALOG:
Proposals for new courses and changes to existing courses should be entered directly into CourseLeaf and chairs/directors should advance those proposals in CourseLeaf.
CCC application materials should NOT be put into CourseLeaf; they should be emailed to CASCurriculum@uvm.edu.
The CAS Curriculum Committee chair does retain the power to advance course action forms (CAFs) in CourseLeaf, and will be in touch with specific chairs/directors if they are going to be doing work in CourseLeaf on behalf of those departments and programs. This is most likely to happen near the catalog course deadline in February or if there is a large-scale clean-up project, like changing all the prerequisites at a particular level.
COMMITTEE LEADERSHIP AND QUERIES:
Multiple people will be monitoring the new CASCurriculum@uvm.edu account, so you’re welcome to direct questions there.
Committee chair Alicia.Ebert@uvm.edu will be the main point person.
Associate Dean Sara.Solnick@uvm.edu is the person to talk to first about developing new or substantial changes to majors, minors, certificates, and programs, as well as the staffing or enrollment implications of course changes.
CAS Student Services representative Elizabeth.Dunbar@uvm.edu is the point person for Catamount Core Curriculum (CCC) applications.
