Project Approach and Activities

What will the team be working on together? Over the next two years, team members will learn and implement practical approaches to planning and implementing evaluation activities, and using the data you collect to improve programs.

The program combines group education (information/instruction) sessions with self-directed, self-paced activities.

Throughout, you’ll have opportunities to receive free coaching and technical assistance from evaluation specialists and to share knowledge and give feedback to each other.

You’ll be matched with a small group (4-6 people) in a peer learning circle for ongoing support as you implement evaluation activities that make sense for your program. The learning circles will be formed around common interests — the people in your learning circle will be interested in learning about and practicing some of the same things you want to explore. Peer learning circles are an effective way to anchor your learning, practice mutual accountability, deepen your networks, and implement meaningful program improvement.

This program is designed to provide flexibility — to accommodate your existing work commitments and to make sure that it supports the evaluation activities that will meaningful for your program and work. Throughout, our focus will be on supporting your capacity to conduct evaluation activities that are meaningful for your program needs.
