ブライアンさんは英語の先生として、来月日本に行きます。日本での旅行、お世話になった方々、御津北部小学校での授業などが特に気に入って、アメリカに戻ってからすぐに日本で働けるよう就職活動を始めました。がんばってください！
Brian (2nd from left) loved the trip, adores the people he met, and enjoyed teaching at Mito Hokubu Elementary School so much that he decided to return to Japan and work there as an English teacher. After the trip, he applied for a job and I am happy to report that he will be returning to Japan next month! He will be an excellent teacher!

新幹線に乗る前にお弁当を買います。
It has become our ritual to purchase “obentou” box before getting on a bullet train called Shinkansen. Here is Brian purchasing obentou.

Unusual food we had today…raw horse meat with tategami. The wait staff said the white thing on top is tategami…which is mane. We assume it is some kind of fat in the back of horse neck.
