As we sat for four-five hours in the Milwaukee airport, Charlie and I had time to talk about the new knowledge we had aquired at the POD conference, As well as the current direction of the independent study. I came up with the idea that maybe I would write a paper outlining my work on this project. I would include what I learned, what Matt did with the students at Edmunds, what we did in the EDEL 24 course. Thinking about the different ways that teachers try to involve students in their own learning. Also the different lenses and perspective into understaning the millennial generation. I would work on the survey, do a draft/outline of the paper, possibly interview some students and do a review of literature on the topic.
