Timeline & Key Contacts

Please use the menus to the left for directions about how to initiate various types of curricular changes.

When to submit materials to the CAS Curriculum Committee for review:

  • September 1: Draft proposals–including letters of support–for new or significantly altered majors, minors, or certificates. CourseLeaf forms and related memos are not required at this stage, but you should know what needs to be done.
  • October 1: Complete proposals for new or significantly altered majors, minors, or certificates. CourseLeaf forms and related memos should be completed at this point.
  • October 1: Courses seeking D1, D2, or SU designations and/or graduate credit.
  • November 1: Comprehensive catalog clean-ups (small changes to a large number of courses).
  • December 1: Small changes to courses, majors, minors, or certificates.

To make the 2018-19 catalog, all changes must be approved by the conclusion of the January 30, 2018 CAS faculty meeting.
