Using information provided through keynote presentations and panel discussions, this inaugural, invitation-only symposium seeks to launch a dialogue between the NAE’s Earth Resource Engineers and their counterparts in the federal and state governments, industry and agriculture about the practical challenges, and national concerns stemming from groundwater depletion. The conversations will also include identifying and understanding specific targets and opportunities in education, training, and research in Earth Resources Engineering.
