So people could, go to the &#8220;case studies page&#8221; and do a search for all courses in CALS that went through the hybrid program&#8230;. OR all CALS courses that are over 100 students&#8230;OR all undergraduate courses from any college.<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>There would therefore be several different search variables. Here are just a few of them :<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>College e.g. CAS, CALS, CEMS&#8230; etc \u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Level e.g undergrad, graduate; \u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Class size e.g. 0-25, 25-50, etc;<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Hybrid model of teaching \u00a0e.g. Split, Alternative, etc.<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>See example here:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sciencecases.lib.buffalo.edu\/cs\/collection\/\">http:\/\/sciencecases.lib.buffalo.edu\/cs\/collection\/<\/a><\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Here&#8217;s what I want to know&#8230;<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>is MySQL the way to do it? \u00a0Can it just be done with\u00a0with PHP and tagging?<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Also, I should mention that the queries that are generated would produce a list with any number of &#8220;finds&#8221; (courses) listed on it, so if someone searches for\u00a0<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>College: BSAD \u00a0+ \u00a0ClassSize: 25-50 \u00a0+\u00a0HybridMode: alternating<\/em><\/div>\n<div style=\"color: #000000\"><em>they may only come up with one course that meets that criteria (or none), but if they search, say, only one variable like &#8220;College: CAS&#8221; and choose no other parameters, they may have 20 results.<\/em><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I delivered<\/p>\n<p><br style=\"color: #000000\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/ctl\/apps\/hybrids\/\">http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/ctl\/apps\/hybrids\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ines asked, I met with J and Henrie this week because they want me to write some case studies on the hybrid course development\/teaching process.
