{"id":26,"date":"2018-11-29T13:37:08","date_gmt":"2018-11-29T18:37:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/vtsare\/?page_id=26"},"modified":"2025-06-10T12:46:00","modified_gmt":"2025-06-10T16:46:00","slug":"sare-in-vermont","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/vtsare\/","title":{"rendered":"SARE in Vermont"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"intro\">\n<p>Vermont SARE is a state program of the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education program (<a href=\"http:\/\/northeastsare.org\/\">NESARE<\/a>), housed at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/extension\">University of Vermont Extension<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each state program provides information about NE-SARE&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/northeast.sare.org\/grants\/\">competitive grants<\/a> programs, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sare.org\/Project-Reports\">project results<\/a>, and additional sustainable agriculture <a href=\"https:\/\/northeast.sare.org\/resources\/\">resources<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, we conduct trainings for agricultural service providers, farmers and other to collectively deepen our understanding of agricultural systems, sustainable agriculture practices, and ways to best communicate about our work.<\/p>\n<h3>SARE-funded Grant Projects in Vermont<\/h3>\n<p>For an overview of grants funded in Vermont by project type, total funding to our state since 1988 please download and view this short <a href=\"https:\/\/northeast.sare.org\/state-profiles\/vermont\/\">grants summary<\/a> for Vermont.<\/p>\n<h3>Recently Completed Projects<\/h3>\n<p>Every Northeast SARE project share results and lessons learned through its final report.
