{"id":321,"date":"2011-10-10T09:44:55","date_gmt":"2011-10-10T14:44:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/subtutor\/?p=321"},"modified":"2011-10-10T10:09:06","modified_gmt":"2011-10-10T15:09:06","slug":"tutoring-updates-101011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/subtutor\/2011\/10\/10\/tutoring-updates-101011\/","title":{"rendered":"Tutoring Updates 10\/10\/11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Goudy Old Style\">Hello, all&#8211;<\/p>\n<p>I wanted to send along a few reminders and updates as we get started this week.<\/p>\n<p>One: If you are unable to schedule a campus-wide appointment, please let me know!\u00a0 Include the student&#8217;s name, email address, and the class for which they would like a tutor.\u00a0 I will follow-up and make sure they have been matched with someone.\u00a0 We don&#8217;t want any students getting stranded!<\/p>\n<p>Two: If you need to cancel an availability in the Learning Co-op, you MUST approve the cancellation with me first.\u00a0 Advanced notice is necessary so that we can remove the availability before an appointment is scheduled.<\/p>\n<p>Three: New tutors, welcome to the team!\u00a0 If you would like to schedule hours in the Learning Co-op, please get in touch with me and we can set a schedule together.<\/p>\n<p>Four: Work Study tutors, remember, you MUST be turning in Work Summary reports and entering your hours in PeopleSoft each week.<\/p>\n<p>Five: When you come into the Co-op to tutor or even to check in with me, please be sure to check in with the front desk staff.\u00a0 They have a lot to take care of and you introducing yourself will help them out immensely!<\/p>\n<p>Six: I still could use a tutor to lead drop-in groups for BSAD classes.\u00a0 Please let me know if you are interested!<\/p>\n<p>Thanks!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello, all&#8211; I wanted to send along a few reminders and updates as we get started this week.
