I chose a new location this semester because I wanted find a second sense of place at a different place on campus. My location is the woods between Redstone Campus and the golf course. To find it, you can walk through the Redstone student parking lot found to the right of WDW residence hall or continue on the path throughout the golf course that begins at the entrance.
At my new location, I found a few signs of animals, though they were difficult to identify. First, I found a pair of tracks from what I’d guess to be a fox. I am just beginning to identify tracks, so my guess is as good as any. The second pair was from a bird. While I was there, I saw a large flock of birds in the trees at the golf course and I believe the tracks belong to them. I snapped a few pictures of the tracks and some of the general area at my spot.
