Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whose woods these are I think I know.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
His house is in the village though;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
He will not see me stopping here\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
To watch his woods fill up with snow.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My little horse must think it queer   
To stop without a farmhouse near   
Between the woods and frozen lake   
The darkest evening of the year.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He gives his harness bells a shake   
To ask if there is some mistake.   
The only other sound\u2019s the sweep   
Of easy wind and downy flake.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The woods are lovely, dark and deep, \u00a0\u00a0
But I have promises to keep,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
And miles to go before I sleep,\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
And miles to go before I sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought this was a fitting poem to summarize by love of Vermont during the winter months- the prose is truly timeless! I hope you all have a wonderful break and I will be back to visit Salmon Hole come next semester!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
