Any Changes?

There are more vegetation in the understory than there was when I visited last. Also buds are starting to sprout and I even saw some early bloomers. With temperatures being around 50 degrees Fahrenheit for the past week, and rainy, I am not surprised. I also saw squirrels, a couple of robins and finches. It was muddy so there were some deer tracks I could find. Sadly, a family walking there dog smeared the deer tracks before I could get a picture

Nature and culture intertwine a lot here. Centennial Woods is a place where people can hike, run, or walk around through. There is a lot of biodiversity here, but there is also a lot of human traffic. I also consider myself a part of this place. Since coming to University of Vermont I have spent a lot of time here and it has been a great place to go birding in my free time. I also plan to continue hiking and observing wildlife in Centennial Woods.
