Dr. Karson uses scientific processes and technologies as creative catalysts. Through her work, experiments, and data sets, she challenges traditional concepts of artistic authorship and human-machine collaboration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentation focused on intersections between environmental data science and art. The panel discussion included Lauren Cresanti with the UVM Spatial Analysis Lab, Olivia Welford &#8217;24 Computer Science and Studio Art double major, and Maya Griffith, a Computer Science graduate student.
