I listened to the water and the birds. I was able to identify a brown creeper, golden-crowned kinglet, black capped chickadee, and a tufted titmouse. There were so many birds jumping though the trees. I also smelled a skunk who must have visited the brook the pervious night. I loved sitting in my sunny spot; I feel as though it allowed me to connect to my place on a more new level.
