{"id":128,"date":"2014-06-06T09:32:20","date_gmt":"2014-06-06T13:32:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/religion\/?p=128"},"modified":"2014-06-06T09:33:43","modified_gmt":"2014-06-06T13:33:43","slug":"department-newsletter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/religion\/2014\/06\/06\/department-newsletter\/","title":{"rendered":"Department Newsletter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Each year, the department crafts a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/artsandsciences\/enews\/documents\/religion.newsletter.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">newsletter<\/a>, in conjunction with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/artsandsciences\/enews\/cas-enews.html\" target=\"_blank\">College of Arts and Sciences eNEWS<\/a> and newsletters.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/religion\/files\/2014\/05\/cropped-DSC_0034.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-105 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/religion\/files\/2014\/05\/cropped-DSC_0034-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"cropped-DSC_0034.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>The faculty and graduating seniors had a big 2013-2014! As you might imagine, professors\u00a0gave papers, published new research, and taught innovative new courses alongside beloved standards. Thanks to Professor Todne Thomas, the department hosted Dr. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/~presdent\/marsh\/?Page=matorybio.html\" target=\"_blank\">J. Lorand Matory<\/a>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uvm.edu\/~presdent\/marsh\/\" target=\"_blank\">UVM Marsh Professor<\/a>, for two weeks and many events in April.
