Phenology Spot: Visit 2

For my Phenology location I chose the entrance (or gate) to the Burlington Country Club. The Entrance to the driveway is in plain view of public sidewalks. It is only a short walk from my residence hall on campus (about 4-5 minutes). There are several trees off different varieties across the cleared lawn and a relatively dense tree line (forested) the encircles the whole golf course/ property. The understory of the forested tree line (that was in view of the public) comprised buckthorn and several other shrubs. The overstory has several constituents: Red Maple, Sugar Maple, American Beech, Northern Red Oak, and Eastern White Pine. I have included two of many pictures I took on my second visit (left: tree line with buckthorn right: zoomed out tree line, two isolated Northern Red Oaks).
