To understand the impact of refugee resettlement in host communities visual documentation was collected of two main refugee neighborhoods in Burlington metro
area, Old North End and Winooski. This included identifying both public spaces and
private spaces used for public purposes by refugees and other residents including
schools, grocery stores, restaurants, other businesses, community centers, healthcare
facilities, parks and playgrounds, and other buildings and amenities. Static and interactive maps were created for these two neighborhoods.
