Hello! My name is Julia and I chose North Beach for my NR Phenology Blog. I love North Beach because it’s so easy to get to- just make a right on Battery Street and a left at the Burlington High School. An atmosphere of peace is present at this beach. The best time to go is at sunset, you will see different groups of people, and a lot of them bring their dogs.

The foliage is superb at North Beach. The mix of forest and lake creates a diverse ecosystem with various evergreen and deciduous trees. A common bird to see is the ring-billed gull.
