Im home!
(I actually did this one) So when I got home, I landed, went home, slept for 5 hours, then drove from Ringgold, GA to some place in VA that i cant remember the name of for my grandma’s funeral. Not fun. So the trip started with me being awake and driving for way too long with a very emotional funeral in the middle (not cool). So when I got home, I felt a little sick but nothing bad. The next day was mostly the same, except that night, I threw up 3 times and had chills and aches that severely affected my ability to sleep. The next day, I did not get out of bed for any reason other than to use the bathroom. It was also at this time my pneumonia developed and wow did I cough. I coughed so much, it caused me to repeat the previous night. So with little sleep, little food, and (I was really trying) little water, I was in bad shape. The night before Thanksgiving, I was taken to the ER because my entire body was cold, my blood oxygen was abysmally low (blue-tinted fingers and toes) and I could not breathe really at all. So that was cool. I spent a lot of time in the ER and they gave me a whole bag of IV fluids and gave me some antibiotics for the pneumonia. I say all of this to describe how little time I actually had to go outside and sit down. The last day I was home, I did get to go outside and man are the tress different. There are seriously only pine and oaks there I swear to God. I didn’t particularly know what kinds of oaks and pines, but due to the bark, I could tell it was them. It was foggy and I did get this sick picture of a tree there. The ecology is much different too. The leaves were still on the trees and it was still very much green in some areas. It (thankfully) didn’t rain too much, so I didn’t get to see any runoff or anything, but from what I remember, it has to rain a lot to see it on the surface of the soil. The soil down there is also a lot rockier and way less sandy, which makes sense, as there is little glacial till there. Also, since this place is my backyard (large property), I feel weird just dropping the location of it, but my address is 215 Waters Drive, Ringgold, GA 30736. I don’t know how thats different than the location, but it feels less wrong.
