Final One
Hello! This is the final blog post and it is me “going back” to my phonology spot. I will be totally transparent, this was all encased in one visit, so the changes noted are all from my memory of being in this place before. There is a lot less leaf litter, I assume due to decomposition, some moss still remains and some ferns remain. There was a Beech tree with leaves still, which was mad interesting, and the Hemlocks obv still had their needles. The pine tree had its, and the ground was mostly covered by that. I also noticed that the ground (which is on a hill) had little holes in it all over? I think it was because of how the pine needles interacted with the sediment from the flowing water. It looked kinda cool and made a funny crunching noise when I stepped on it. I saw no animal activity, but heard a little critter running about somewhere in the woods. I enjoyed becoming in touch with nature again. I missed it.
