The Basics:

- Location: somewhere in the middle of Centennial Woods
- Head behind Jeffords and walk down the street until you see the Centennial Woods sign. Venture into the woods, over the wood bridges until you get to the second poison ivy sign. Turn left at that sign and follow the path until you hit a circle of trees right of the path. You have arrived!

Why did I choose this spot?
I chose this spot somewhat randomly when exploring a new part of Centennial Woods. Initially I was drawn to the unexpected circle or trees with a clearing in the middle. It seemed like an ideal place to hammock and observe the rest of the woods. You can see the tree species on the other path from this spot, which I thought would be interesting to observe. This spot has a rich variety of tree species in it and I’m curious to see how they change throughout the seasons.
