The setting of Trinity Woods remained mostly unchanged as of right now, but it’ll start to freeze soon! Compared to my last visit, the water level of the stream significantly decreased because of the lack of recent rainfall. The understory was covered with fallen leaves and foliage, and the number of fallen trees had drastically increased, likely due to the high wind speeds last week. During my fifteen minutes of observation, I found it difficult to tune into the natural environment’s sounds as construction overshadowed it heavily. The views remained beautiful, even being that the trees are far more barren than before. Also different from last time- the amount of fauna I observed was significantly less. Whereas before I witnessed bugs and frogs in the water, the setting lacked the same presence of biodiversity in animal species.
