{"id":1,"date":"2011-02-07T19:09:24","date_gmt":"2011-02-07T19:09:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/mpeabody-buildingcapacity\/?p=1"},"modified":"2011-02-08T14:44:45","modified_gmt":"2011-02-08T18:44:45","slug":"hello-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/mpeabody-buildingcapacity\/2011\/02\/07\/hello-world\/","title":{"rendered":"UVM Extension launches a new project build capacity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The newly launched <strong>Building Capacity<\/strong> project strengthens UVM Extension\u2019s ability to provide education and technical assistance to Vermont\u2019s nonprofit sector as well as the many small associations, boards, committees and commissions that do so much of the work that sustains the quality of life for Vermonters.  <\/p>\n<p>Building on a history of successful educational programs in this area, we focus our efforts on an innovative \u201ctoolbox\u201d of leadership and capacity skills organized around learning modules delivered using a variety of media. These modules meet the individualized needs of the participants while maximizing the efficiency of the organizations.  We provide entry-level skills that can be completed alone or combined into longer, more in-depth programs.
