{"id":1,"date":"2019-01-30T14:38:59","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T14:38:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/mpalumbo\/?p=1"},"modified":"2019-02-16T02:43:34","modified_gmt":"2019-02-16T07:43:34","slug":"finally-arrived-in-nz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.uvm.edu\/mpalumbo\/2019\/01\/30\/finally-arrived-in-nz\/","title":{"rendered":"Finally arrived in NZ!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After 2 years of planning, I have arrived in New Zealand to learn about the \u201cNew Zealand Framework for Dementia Care\u201d.&nbsp; &nbsp;This is my sabbatical research and I hope to bring back some new ideas for my clinical practice at the University of Vermont Memory Program.&nbsp; &nbsp;The 13 hour flight from San Francisco was uneventful except for a little turbulence which our pilot described as \u201cjiggles\u201d. &nbsp;&nbsp;My first traveling companion is Dr. Lindsay Reese who is a neuroscientist and scientific editor.
